I know it seems like we're doing bad stuff, but look at it this way: we're the good guys, and that means that all our enemies, who are bad guys, must secretly be doing even worse stuff.
My experiences have shown that anyone who wants to govern others isn't someone who should. Any organization made of such people is undoubtedly responsible for an amount of attricities. That amount probably averages out to the same by age of country across the board. So I doubt there's any country that's genuinely better than another because at it's very core they're all run by assholes who should not be allowed power.
This is extremely vibes-based, and ignores foundational differences like modes of production and distribution.
I like the new "vibes-based" phrase.
