Anything a group that looks like that wants can't be good for anyone else. And from reading further it sure isn't.
This is one of those times that ISPs want not just their customers to pay them, but big companies online should also pay them since it's their services that are being used on their networks.
So fuck all of them in other words. Sounds good to me.
While I would generally agree, this sounds like failing Telcos seeking to use the government to steal cash from Big Tech companies, and attacking net neutrality to achieve it.
I haven't heard of Telco's anywhere failing so hard they go this route. It's either corruption &/or sheer incompetence. Either way, most Telcos are just as scummy as any big tech company.
