You don't actually "buy" domain names. You basically rent them from a registrar. "expired" meant someone forgot to pay rent / renew the lease so control of the name goes back to the registrar. They can just delete it after some grace period but domain names that has traffic going to them has value so they are usually put up for auction by the registrar nowadays, which is what you see here.

A wire which is supposed to carry 9.5A max carrying >20A is bad.

With the way the Founder Edition uses the connector -- all the 12V pins are just connected together on the card -- isn't it better to do the same on the cable, in other words connect all 12V wires together at the connector on both ends? Would that eliminate imbalance between the cables?

Need to input an additional passcode which is unnecessary when using a cash card, and still need to input the PIN. It is remembering 1 more thing in exchange of carrying the card.

Not as insecure as I first thought as just scanning your face and getting authenticated, nor as convenient as that would be.

I don't see it getting so popular that it replaces cash cards. There is not a huge advantage to the user so banks probably cannot convince that many people to give up their biometric data for this service.

Hisense’s new RGB LED panel uses thousands of optical lenses, each containing red, green, and blue LEDs to produce “pure colors directly at the source.”

Sounds like there will still be zones and bleeding since each LED would correspond to more than one subpixel.

Is this some biological instinct to ensure gene diversity?

A driver allows games to interface with the graphics hardware, enabling accelerated performance for example. This “app” provides additional functionality on top of that (I don’t know what, but GeForce Experience it replaces provided things like recording gameplay videos etc.) which is not strictly required and, it seems, hurts gaming performance.

As for getting the latest drivers, you can do it manually by going to nVidia’s website and download them, or rely on Windows update to give you reasonably recent drivers.

Your CPU is supported. It’s probably just a matter of enabling the fTPM (firmware TPM) option in your motherboard’s BIOS settings, which would satisfy Windows 11’s TPM “requirement”.

Yes, you could have watched a 5- (or 10-) years old movie and went there for a forum full of threads about that specific movie. Some threads might be old, but people did make new threads even after years, and they were all in one place and easy to find. It was a big loss when it was shut down, and I haven’t found a place that offers a similar experience.

Why is there no 28 Months Later?

I really hate that you can only open one settings page at a time. There is no justification to making you lose your place you’re working on just because you want to adjust another minor setting. With the old interface I can e.g. have network and sound settings open at the same time and I don’t know why they took that away.

Sharp to cease LCD plant operation, end Japan's large panel production

The SDP factory produces LCD panels for televisions, and its suspension will mean Japan no longer has the capacity to produce large panels.

The cable one is just a regular SATA connector, since SAS HBAs can also control SATA drives (but not vice versa).

I believe the connector you are looking for is called SFF-8482. It is available in backplane and cable versions.
