It's more so that they can FEEL like they did the right thing. Not that they did the right thing.

It's all about optics. If they vote for a Democrat and post a picture with their "I Voted" sticker, then they get internet points! Then they don't have to be worried about getting canceled by their peers who they swear up and down don't cancel people because that goes against their fake "live and let live" ideology.

Sure I voted for genocide, but I did it the way all of Hollywood did, so I'm cool and part of the club! It's the acceptable form of genocide support!

Shit man. I used to work at a Circuit City at the height of bloated shitty Celeron PCs.

We would be forced to sell a "system optimization" on each PC we sold. It was just a script that uninstalled a few of the bloatware items and tweaked the animation speed to make the customer think we did something incredible.

I fucking hated that job!

My MIL is this kind of extrovert. She assumes that if someone isn't constantly talking to her that they hate her.

Look lady: I love your daughter to death! I love you to death! I DON'T HAVE ANY NEW DEVELOPMENTS IN MY LIFE!! And you KNOW that!! Trust me, when I do, I WILL LET YOU KNOW!! In the meantime, business as usual and I don't have any opinions on anything outside of my purview!
