I fixed my ports and switched the image that Schizo mentioned and now it works thanks for informing me I am new to this.

[–] Blxter@lemmy.zip 1 points 2 days ago

OK never mind.... Just went back to it with the changed ports that catloaf (no idea if I can @ people here to be honest...) mentioned and it now works :)

[–] Blxter@lemmy.zip 1 points 2 days ago

I tried that one first but had same issue.

Hello All,

I am trying to run scrutiny via docker compose and I am running into an issue where nothing shows up on the wub UI. If anyone here has this working would love some ideas on what the issue could be.

as per there trouble shooting for this I followed those steps and here is the output

$ smartctl --scan
/dev/sda -d scsi # /dev/sda, SCSI device
/dev/sdb -d sat # /dev/sdb [SAT], ATA device
/dev/nvme0 -d nvme # /dev/nvme0, NVMe device
docker run -it --rm \
  -v /run/udev:/run/udev:ro \
  --cap-add SYS_RAWIO \
  --device=/dev/sda \
  --device=/dev/sdb \
  ghcr.io/analogj/scrutiny:master-collector smartctl --scan
/dev/sda -d scsi # /dev/sda, SCSI device
/dev/sdb -d sat # /dev/sdb [SAT], ATA device

So I think I am imputing the devices correctly.

I only really changed the port number for the web UI to 8090 from 8080 in there example as 8080 is taken. compose file

    devices:

      - "/dev/sdb"

everything appears to start and work and no errors in the terminal.

Thanks for the help.

Lidarr might do it but I no longer run it as it didn't really work well for me but I have not touched it in over a year. Also music torrents are very rare from my experience. I recently heard about "lidar on steroids" but have yet to fully look into it.

Edit: it looks the it has been updated to have a UI now so maybe it does read albums

[–] Blxter@lemmy.zip 2 points 4 days ago (1 children)

Ok I've heard alot of good things from that according to this Reddit post it has most features minus the DJ witch is cool and I use but I like trying out new apps and it's got a free trial and only a 5$ purchase so pretty cheap all things considered.

Unfortunate. No one asked me but I don't think dlc or even remakes of games should be able to win. If they want to give recognition to them make a new category for dlc or remakes. Making a dlc or a remake is different than a 'new' game.

Saw this and set it up. Hopefully it will grow and get better as a tracker the worst part about self hosting music is most of the time the music data is pulled from musicbrainz but new music or lesser known artists are never there I end up adding most of the music I listen to to there database.

Edit: does not seem to work as anticipated it does not read albums you have only artists and is now telling me every album I that has released this year from the artists I have. Still interesting and will follow this project closely. Maybe I missed a release lol.

Yea I also believe (could be wrong) the Sonic analysis for music and Plex amp is much better than what finamp provides

Edit: I did run both about a year ago just to see the differences so it would not be hard for me to spin it back up

Edit 2: prob going to because I want to test the YouTube and twitch plugins tbh

[–] Blxter@lemmy.zip 1 points 5 days ago (5 children)

All the plugin talk about jellyfin makes me want to switch wish Plex kept support for them. Jellyfin does seem to make way bigger strides than Plex these days

If I had a dollar for the amount of damn Twitter, bluesky whatever posts there are on here ide be rich

I switched to EOS Endeavour OS. I don't think it has data collection

So I self host all my music via Plex and for some artists and albums Plex (via Plex pass I believe) pulls lyrics and can show you like Spotify etc but some artists are not supported/popular. I found a couple apps that 'worked' to download lyrics but the best one was this https://github.com/tranxuanthang/lrcget

Just thought I would share for others who would want to do the same I have a large library and adding lyrics was not hard at all and found most out of the gate. If you have other solutions I would love to hear about them maybe they are better lol

It adds the file as same name in same folder that song is located

Have not seen this posted here and I believe it is new. Tried it out yesterday and could be very useful and protect people from fake websites etc so I thought I would share.

FMHY SafeGuard is a browser extension that keeps you safe by checking websites against the latest filterlists from FMHY Filterlist. The extension categorizes websites as starred, safe, unsafe, or potentially dangerous, giving you peace of mind while browsing.

Key Features

  • Real-time Site Status: Instant feedback on whether a site is starred, safe, unsafe, or potentially unsafe, with visual toolbar icons.
  • Updated Filterlists: Utilizes the frequently updated FMHY filterlist to ensure protection from the latest unsafe domains.
  • Pop-up Alerts: Get easy-to-read pop-ups that inform you about the site status and allow further action.

Is there an uploader somewhere (not asking for links or anything of the matter) that does most tv shows in the format that RARBG then Kontrast (on tgx) used to do? I sometimes find 'Vyndros', 'PSA', or 'QXR' but I can not find anything close anymore for most shows. Maybe I'm just bad at looking now. I'm not really interested in the packs below that quality line.

I don't use usenet or any private tracker.

I would like to be able to give people an URL and have them be able to access my service.

Example I have overseerr currently funneled so when the go to url pcname.tail$$$$$.ts.net they are greeted with overseerr. But if I funneled another service at pcname.tail$$$$$.ts.net/immich for example it does nothing just blank loading but the url knows it should be Immich or another service (I can put the url pcname.tail$$$$$.ts.net/immich in the immich app and have it work). I have tried reversing them so I believe I can not set paths after .net..

Am I doing something wrong or is this not supported?

Do y'all still see the comment section at bottom of torrent details for the tgx sites it has been gone ever since they seem to have gotten rid of the filter options aswell.

Hey all,

Not exactly directly piracy but since I pirated the material I'm talking about thought it would fit. When I download books I often get both the audiobook and the epub of the same book but most of the audio books are in the format of the whole book in one file. Is there a website or someway to see timestamps on the audio book to relate with chapters in the book. I often listen to the book while cleaning or doing random things but want to read the same book later and having to find the right spot is hard and takes a long time.

Thanks

I have been using this config for qBittorrent for awhile and been working for the most part. Sometimes it gets "connection status: Firewalled" I would fix this by going to settings -> connection and click the "Random" button a couple times and save and then it would work again. This seems to not work anymore. Is there a better fix for this? Back before I used docker I don't remember ever having to do this. I have never done any kind of manual port forwarding my current VPN provider does not do that at the price I have it for right now. Let me know if you need more information about my setup or something

Thanks I guess it is just randomly breaks for now since it appears to be back.

Sci-Fi / fantasy is my favorite genre and almost every show they have put out I have liked have not seen all however. Just watched dark matter first two episodes yesterday and they were great.

What ones have you seen and liked?

Edit: So a solution I just found is that if I remove the second DNS from my router (1.1.1.1) then all traffic goes through adguard. This works but if I go on vacation and my parents are still home and this device dies or something then my mom will have no idea what to do...

Hello,

I have adguardhome running on a raspberry pi via docker compose. I once had tailscale installed on it but it has sense been uninstalled.

Using for example my phone when at home if it is on my tailnet the adguard works as intended and blocks ads trackers etc. But If at home and disconnected from my tailnet it does not go through adguard at all. So all my family members do not have the benefit of this and anything not on my tailnet. I would rather have it work for everyone and not sure how to fix or where I went wrong in the setup.

For the setup guide for adguard it says

AdGuard Home DNS server is listening on the following addresses: 127.0.0.1 172.18.0.2

So I added 172.18.0.2 to my /etc/systemd/resolved.conf file because before it had only DNS=127.0.0.1. This seems to have not worked unless I need to restart for it to take effect looks like this now

# Entries in this file show the compile time defaults. Local configuration
# should be created by either modifying this file, or by creating "drop-ins" in
# the resolved.conf.d/ subdirectory. The latter is generally recommended.
# Defaults can be restored by simply deleting this file and all drop-ins.
#
# Use 'systemd-analyze cat-config systemd/resolved.conf' to display the full config.
#
# See resolved.conf(5) for details.

I often used this site to download flac songs that I was unable to find on SLSK or other torrents. Is there an alternative to this site that anyone knows of. It will be missed.
