As an occasionally returning player, I think the ah access is massively overrated. What is it that people are buying from there that they can't buy in the capital, but at the same time must be available on the road?

I have need for an auction house off road maybe once a month? Probably less often. And when I do I can just log onto a banking alt located right at an auction house, mail it to my main and grab it from any mailbox (engineering has portable mailboxes too by the way).

Probably not that weird when you go to someones house to "watch a movie" and end up actually watching a movie. And then the dude doesnt even get the hint when she basically rubs up against him. We see this and think of an amazing and essential public service. A capitalist sees this and tries to find a way to make money with it, and the first step is to ruin the free product.

Let me preach you the gospel of sleeping twice a day for 4-5 hours. I used to have a real slump around (after)noon to the point that i would fall asleep sitting in a chair, naturally resulting in back/neck pain. Now i just take a nice long nap whenever i feel like it, waking up to a refreshed mind.

Ideally, supervision over most non critical sectors would fall to randomly drafted, single term committees of the people, think jury duty except better compensated and obviously with bureaucratic resources available to enable these committees to fulfil their role adequately.

Now this isn't suited for everything, but in either system any true oversight is done by the people, not the state.

Dont get me wrong i dont disagree with you that some people depend on the protection it offers, but it also makes me wonder how the person gets by outside work when they have to solve disagreements and rude interactions on their own.
