RD still works and there are multiple other debrids out there if you prefer stremio.

If you are fine just deleting stuff after watching instead of hoarding you can save in storage and management costs if you go the self hosted route. Also its a lot cheaper to host if your willing to watch at say 1080p then 4k.

I'm not sure why there is so much push back. You made a post showing alternatives to real debrid but you crossed out all debrid even though it works.

At $4/month I'm willing to risk it. Honestly I'd like to use TorBox but they need to get a bit more established.

Why is AllDebrid crossed out? Just cause its French based as well?

Zurg seems to still work. So people who use this for Plex or Jellyfin shouldn't be to affected.

Stremio users on the other hand either have to switch services or wait and see what the dev from Debrid Media Manager comes up with.

Personally, I'll probably switch to AllDebrid until TorBox proves it can handle the influx of new customers and grows it's cache.

It looks like in terms of torrent sites

  • 1337x
  • rutracker
  • the pirate bay
  • torrentgalaxy (replaced RARBG)
  • yts

Are all on the list. seems like torrentio is gonna be a big victim of this.

Yeah for sure. Maybe even something as simple as setting the network DNS to Quad9

Sounds like they would use DNS hijacking to trick the set top boxes into downloading malicious code that disables the device.

I wonder if something as simple as having a VPN active on the device or the network would mitigate this since you would be avoiding the ISP DNS.

Yeah. Rule #1 of doing illegal shit on social media. Don't tie that account to your identity.

Was hoping to get help finding a guide with more detail on setting up something like rdt-client for people who don't use docker.

It appears like its very much possible but it seems like pretty much all guides assume the user is setting it up in docker.

Currently have zurg and plex debrid setup with RD which works great but i find plex debrid a little lacking in being able to find what im looking for compares to using the *arr programs.
