I can confirm it has no hearts/timer or the usual Freemium Mobile monetization tactics. At most you can watch an ad to revive after death or to get extra coins but it's optional.
It's also on Steam for cheap and that version has zero monetization.

The search industry continues to undergo big changes. Leta will not be able to follow and will likely become less useful over time.

None of the "Big changes" of late have improved the user experience, absolutely nobody who'd use Leta would complain that it doesn't have AI summaries or whatever other bullshit.

Does this feel like a big cop out to anyone else? How weird...

Remember that shitcoin that made HDD prices shoot up like crazy just because?
Now we just need a new nonsensical fad to drive Cases, Motherboards, CPUs and PSUs up and we'll have come full circle

Are you using scaling?
On my work laptop dragging a window from one monitor to the next would make them "snag" in between borders as they struggled and stuttered trying to change the scale.
It looked soooo fucking stupid I couldn't believe my eyes

Easier to give them Flashpoint. You could restrict the age inappropriate games too.

Call me ignorant, if this happened and it brought a new golden era of modding (1.7.10 style) where everyone's playing the same version I'd be maybe the happiest player ever.
Modders backporting content is nothing new, hell, they even brought the mobs that didn't make the cut from those stupid mob votes to life.
Let modding become the new updates, fuck it. At this point they'd likely be better realised than Microsoft's efforts.

That's funny. It's basically Valve's Steam Machine strategy

I don't understand why anyone still watches him.
Like, is his commentary just that insightful and entertaining? Or is it just watching how far it'll go?

Specifically for Syncthing, there's Syncthing Tray. It'll put a little icon on your icon tray (or since you're on KDE you can use the Plasmoid and put it wherever you want) and you can configure it to change colors depending on the status of Syncthing, send notifications when it finishes a sync or can't connect, see a detailed view of the sync status and the folders, etc.
It's very customizable, I've been using it for a while. Check it out!
