Mozilla's slowly creeping in the surveillance with adding integrated crap like Pocket and AI driven Fake Spot. I'm really glad Librewolf's made a privacy focused fork of their browser without all that nonsense.
Got a T450 for less than a hundred bucks and the build quality's something that no longer exists in this day and age. Almost every piece of hardware in that thing's easily accessible and replaceable. It's gonna be a sad day when it finally dies out and nothing else in the market could compare.
That sounds an awful lot like modifying an ESP32 script I've been trying to follow from a YouTube tutorial published a while back. Research hasn't uncovered anything for me to troubleshoot the issue so it's a really shit experience.
It doesn't hurt to hide or disguise the cameras to make them difficult to spot. That way, burglars wouldn't even try to find and break their server if they're not noticed.
Japan Studio was one of those developers that were allowed to experiment and take risks with smaller/cheaper titles for the PlayStation platform. Sony seems to be aiming at only making recognizable franchises and safe bets, kind of like how Disney is still leaning hard on Star Wars and Marvel to keep making money. This is a terrible move as they're no longer even trying to compete with the creativity and smaller budget of indie developers.
It's not quite "full 3D" but Shadow Tactics and Desperados 3 can certainly scratch that stealth itch. They have clear consistent rules that utilize traditional stealth mechanics like vision cones and sound radiuses but improve on it by having a squad with multiple different skills and abilities that allow you to plan and execute elaborate takedowns with the press of a button. The best part is they usually go on sale for dirt cheap, especially now.
You're right about the bad cable. I have a collection of about 10 USB A to USB micro cables and only one of them showed up on lsusb! Thanks for the advice!

I did what abominable_panda suggested and it returned a "wait_queue_t" and a couple of pointer type errors. I'm not sure if that's something that could be fixed with installing something else, but I'm not at all familiar with troubleshooting on this OS yet. The troubleshooting part you mentioned is if it successfully installed but there are issues. It doesn't quite explain the initial installation part.
As for cmnybo's question, I'm trying to program a ESP32 module with the Arduino IDE. I've tried just plugging it in and hoping the driver would already be installed but lsusb doesn't show it on the results.

As opposed to just using a flip phone? I'd happily use a FOSS based Linux phone if it were well developed and readily available.
