Breaking DRM is legal in the EU.
Moving into the EU is probably not that hard, but to be extra safe you'd have to gain EU citizenship somehow and renounce your US one.
As if Nintendo would actually do this. They'd do it like other Japanese developers 15 years ago: windowed 1280x720, no graphics settings, no keyboard support, no quit-to-desktop button.

It's unironically one of the best self hosted software there is. Its tags management feature is unmatched, I wish a similar system existed in Paperless.
