Yup.. all files are there now

I have installed graphics tool from windows settings, updated my intel and nvidia graphics, disabled antivirus, set the .exe file to open by default on administrator mode, installed a certain mod type file and placed it inside the folder (a old reddit thread recommends that) and installed the vulkan.exe which was inside the rdr2 folder

Still it didn't work

Hey there, I'm trying to launch RDR2 on PC and keep getting this error message:
"Red Dead Redemption 2 exited unexpectedly! Please visit https://support.rockstargames.com/ for more information."

So does someone knows how to fix it. I have read many forums and have watched many yt videos but nothing helped.

Here’s a screenshot :

Music from amazon?

You mean songs from amazon music? Because you can get free songs pretty easily in the internet

It is showing progress but the 100% usage of cou scared me

[–] brown_guy45@lemmy.zip 5 points 1 week ago

I did both but those didn't help me

The specs of my laptop are i5 12450HX, 12GB RAM, RTX 2050 $GB VRAM, Gen4 SSD, Win11. And how long should it take it general to install it because I already cancelled it once when it took around 1.5 hours. It was using the whole 100% of my CPU which kinda scared me

So is it normal for it to utilize 100% of CPU for extracting RDR2?

I never actually tried that

It's either of ankurgames, fitgirl repacks or apunkagames for me

Nah man, the problem was that the download directx, .net framework were ticked in the installation by default. I just had to scroll a little

Thanks for replying tho

[–] brown_guy45@lemmy.zip 16 points 1 week ago

You're right.. there was an option to untick downloading directx, .net

I was just being too lazy to scroll. Thanks for the help

I have installed these softwares manually but still it didn't work out

DirectX End-User Runtime Web Installer .NET Framework 4.0 Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable (x64)

So how should i fix it?

These days (at least in my country) I can't own movies, games and watch or play them at my will

Companies like Netflix, Amazon are lending movies but not making them free for you. And then they wonder why piracy is rising

Tbh for a student like me, piracy is the only option. If buying isn't owning then piracy isn't stealing
