While I don't want to support reddit or turbo capitalism, I think a viewpoint that is often missed here is the fact, that a fair share of those subreddits are created and moderated by people that create and hold together communities, especially in the beginning of the sub. There are also a lot of cases were the platform is used to cross link to other platforms and gain profits there.

Yes, how are you doubting that? Is your company not big enough to want to pull users to a specific platform so you have to cripple the others?

Its funny that one of the monuments of capitalism has bad WiFi because the roof had to be very fancy and imposing.
I'm on ProtonVPN for a couple of years now. In the beginning the Linux client was a bit of a pain, but they also let you download OpenVPN and WireGuard config files. By now the VPN client works fine, also has a permanent kill switch, the only think lacking behind on the Linux client are profiles.
Other than that their services work really good, I have no performance issues and nothing really to complain about.
