Hopefully more people change to mastodon now

I'm using bluez and blueman all updated and i get this error when connecting to multiple devices(DS4 controller, phone, earbuds). It says Connection failed: No audio endpoints registered. I have tried extensively to solve this but I can't seem to find the issue. I'm using arch linux. I've also used bluetoothctl to try and connect but didnt get an explicit error, it just didnt work.

Bluez version: 5.75-1 Kernel: 6.8.5-arch1-1 Pulse version(this might or might not matter): 17.0

Ask for anything, and thanks in advance for the help!

I'm not ashamed, louis always says that of you want to be a "number 15" then just be honest about it and don't make up bullshit excuses.

Yeah I'm number 15

For context this is an Andrew tate meatrider on twitter

PARTIAL SOLUTION I read on the WineHQ page that you need directx 2.0 installed, I had the newest directx. This allows the software to start, but theres still some error. I'll troubleshoot and post again if I can't find anything.

forza 5 cracked works fine if you dont want multiplayer, and the crew might get a crack but still hasnt been cracked to this day

The valve index has native linux support so you don't need alvr or anything, its the same setup process as windows. And for most games with drm, pirate them. its just better.

ALVR is totally capable at playing steamvr games if you have a quest headset, and htc headsets work aswell as valve indexes

Lmao windows is a messy POS. It limits your capabilities and removes your freedoms to the point the eu needs to force them to allow the shitty browser that's included to be removed.

For now, I'll just try it in a windows VM with USB passthrough. Any help would still be appreciated.

I've got a magellan gps and I want to load some maps onto it. The only way to do so is with the magellan vantagepoint software. I ran the installer and there were no errors or any notable issues, but when I run the VantagePoint.exe file, it returns this error:

I've installed .net like the only thing I could find said, but haven't found a further solution. Does anybody have other advice? Thank you very much in advance for the assistance.

$LANG variable (iusearchlinux.fyi)

How do i set the $LANG variable without using export? I have set my locale.conf to LANG=en_US.UTF-8 but LANG is still always set to en_US which is not valid. I'd prefer not to use .bashrc or /etc/. Thanks in advance!

I've installed gentoo but there seems like there's so many sacrifices. I love that it's all open source, but I really don't mind closed source software now and then, because after all I would be using it to play closed source games. The biggest compromise I've observed is the very long build times. I have a lukewarm cpu(i3 10100) and it's powerful enough for good gaming but the build times are still like 10x minimum for some software. All this to say, is using gentoo really worth it? I love the idea behind it, and if I was doing criminal activity I'd definitely use it, but is there some absolute upside to it or is it a really good OS for privacy that sacrifices in usability?
