My coworker, who moved from Europe, showed me the menu his kid has for lunch in school because he was infuriated with the options they had. It was indeed terrible. Junk food and empty calories.

I was just officially classified as a remote employee in my company’s HR system, even though I’ve technically been working more at home than in the office since the pandemic. How exactly do I measure how much I should be deducting because of my home “office”?

Meh, I’m sure they’re wiping their tears with all the money they got from selling an overpriced popcorn bucket because it went viral. If they really wanted something more tame, they could’ve used the pain box instead.

Older millennial here who didn't get a (dumb) phone until high school, so I have no idea what the state is with kids and phones nowadays. Are they pressured by friends/school to have smart phones? How do you help them manage/cope?

Live shows, physical album sales, and merch. And even then, a lot or smaller artists barely break even with live performances, so they rely on merch sales. That’s why I make it a point to attend shows and buy merch when my favorite bands are in town.

In some smaller bars, they use large coleman type jugs with taps and a stack of paper cups. If you ask for water at the bar, they will point you to the jug.
