It's interesting, the first time I saw a picture of Tate I only saw cringe, and that has not changed.

I have thought about showing off my gigantic single player creative mode Minecraft map through a live stream for years, I spent most of my free time over a decade of manually just building huge, huge structures.

And pretending to show it off to a live stream, talking about it and explaining it makes it easier to remember what/why/how I built stuff...

With Alphabet, I treat anything related to delivering more ads as intentional.

In my school in Sweden the blanket rule was that once you were ten you got to bike to school.

Now this was in the suburbs north of Stockholm and the streets were calm, but we did have to pass a rail crossing.

I remember the day before school school was starting, my mom walked me and my sister to school to show the way we should walk to school, and then we walked to and from school unsupervised from when I was six.

Kinda like the mine in the UK that use a cableway without a motor to bring ore down and empty buckets up

I tend to buy the last years iPhone when I get a new phone, it is cheaper and has less bugs.

I am still on the iPhone 12 mini

In my 2021 Seat Leon the controls for defogging the windscreen and the heated rear window (both essential in Sweden) are placed on a cluster of touch buttons below and to the left of the steering wheel.

It is insane, you have to take you eyes off the road and lean forward to press them.

Also, to activate the seat heater, you need to access the climate panel on the infotainment, so you loose the view of any CarPlay navigation.

The car has dedicated touch surfaces to change the AC temp, but the main ones are next to the power button touch area for the infotainment, and none of the areas are illuminated.

I like my car, it is fun and comfortable, but the overreliance of touch controls is infuriating at times.
