I want to play this because I love Suikoden, but a fucking season pass might kill it for me up front. I don't want a season pass in any game, but especially not in single player JRPGs, doubly so in ones that were crowd funded. Unless this wows a lot of people and I see some traction in the steam reviews, I'll probably hold off until it's 50% off in 6 months during the fall sale.
I'm not saying I disagree but you are aware this is a season pass for post release dlc, NOT a battlepass like in live service games right?
Yeah, I'm aware. I just think that in a single player game, the game should be 100% complete. So often "season pass" means "stuff we held back to make more money", or worse "stuff we held back to make the experience worse so you have to give us more money." It's a fucking JRPG, not Destiny 2. I didn't have to pay for a season pass to get the second half of Chrono Trigger.
