I imagine that if Harry Potter really did originate in the 1950's, we'd probably discover the author had all sorts of problematic viewpoints

Really? For me it's difficult to know if they were being sarcastic or not. Especially without any indication of sarcasm.

It's okay we're all autistic here.

The tell was that they brought up very well-known knowledge as if it were a hypothetical.

I am actually on the spectrum, so I'm kinda playing "Guess if it's sarcastic" on hard mode lol. It's especially hard online, without intonation or body language.

And yeah, it's well known to a lot of people, but not to everybody. So I just assumed they didn't know.

I figured. Distinguishing sarcasm is a skill with variables you can detect, like any other human interaction. Best to assume if you've seen it talked about frequently in the space you're in online, and that space has a somewhat strong link (twitter » reddit » Lemmy) then most people there get it. Very much does NOT apply IRL.

Holyfuck this looks good. Beyond amazing. If only the AI can add a fitting text, it would be a readable comic??? Although the AI would also need to understand the picture in order for the text to make sense (or vice versa).

This overlapping style kinda reminds me of manga.

I see from this that Ron now has Harry's glasses, and Veronica has joined Hogwart's. And Harry turns blond. This is crying for some fan fiction now!
