Just watched #heiseshow live on #PeerTube - and the numbers indicate the Peer2Peer system is working well for larger live streams!

I accidentally reloaded my browser tab 4/5ths through or so, so I lost the overall statistics and can only show off the tail end, but this showed me, that the Peer2Peer system does its job to provide scalability for the video #Fediverse

(I swear, the numbers were even better halfway through the stream, when I checked)

The thing that happened: Birds moved in that would otherwise have lacked a habitat, it's pretty beautiful.

Despite the title being an .... interesting choice - this is from the official Krita channel and has actually interesting content, IMO

Context for the weird clickbait title is part of the channel update: Them noticing the YouTube algorithm has been serving them a selection of videos where their own and videos of fellow marginalised people have been pushed away even further than before. (Hence the "You probably won't see this").

Also, dealing with trolls on YT basically harassing them for taking a week off as channel creators, and how that, even if everyone well knows not to "let them get to you" is exhausting and draining.

This comes together with them looking for more alternatives besides YT and PeerTube (which is too small in audience at the moment to justify the storage cost, so they can't have their backlog uploaded there).

I hope that helps a little and makes the, genuinely confusing and clickbaity, title I only extended with noting it being a channel update video less egregious.
