Geoengineering is absolutely real, and companies are already actively engaging in it.

Don’t be so enthusiastic to shut down conspiracy theorists that you make an equally ignorant claim on the other side of the argument.
I am alarmed at the number of confidently stupid comments in this thread. Obviously didn’t read the article, nor bother to look into the claims. Just ignorant and reflexive denial. I’m not saying I support banning geoengineering (though we do need it strictly regulated), but you all sound just as stupid as the conservative conspiracy theorists saying they’re doing this to turn people gay or some shit.
Weather modification has been in use since Vietnam.
And? Banning it outright is ridiculous, but absolutely we shouldn’t be letting any company who feels so compelled to geoengineer without oversight.
