The image on the left is purely about living a life conforming to conservative social stereotypes based on gender. They believe in them so much they change for them. It's like an innocent version of still thinking other skin colours are inferior, and enjoying the idea of playing the characters you saw in 1940s Looney Tunes cartoons.

The image on the left is the grandma from Nick Swardson’s 2000-something Comedy Central Presents routine where he comes in and saves the day by carrying her gallon of milk and I think maybe one or two people reading my comment might remember this but this might be too specific of a reference aaaaa
