Damn.

I know all modern Fallout games are in first-person, so slapping it on a modern Fallout game makes sense, but...

It feels like it would be so much more appropriate for it to use Larian's Divinity Engine (maybe the one used in DOS II, not BG3), just because it's the classic 3/4 overhead view and then some.

I understand that you would need all new textures and models and so on, but like, it seems like a lot of work was done adding models and textures to this too, so I don't know. I understand that it technically has the SPECIAL system built-in, but Bethesda's SPECIAL and Black Isle's SPECIAL are totally different beasts.

Amazing work, of course, just personal opinion in respect to overhead vs first person.

There's also the Wasteland 2/3 engine which would be a good fit. A lot of the assets from 2 would probably drop right into Fallout, given the similarity in tone and setting.

... Well, I say that, but now that I look it up, the Wasteland games used the Unity engine so... Yeah, a BG3 total conversion would be fun
