Does your device have a headphone jack?
Holy shit you got me thinking using ESP as a bluetooth audio receiver, but instead of playing the audio, it records it. Tedious sure, but I think it is quite bullet proof. Headphone jack also works if you have a soundcard with line level input.
While it would defeat most if not all audio DRM, this would result in a lossy capture, whether by line-in or Bluetooth.
Jack is minimally lossy. It would change the audio just from the DAC operation and the noise floor but otherwise be pretty good.
