My wife has issues involving texture and trauma specifically at the dentist office, so I usually accompany her to appointments. So far no office has had an issue.
One time though, she needed to have those spacers put in her teeth, and she told the dentist and hygienist that she would throw up if it was in too long, and that she WILL bite down if there's sharp pain, so use slightly more local anesthetic than normal and wait a little longer for it to work well.
They rushed.
She bit.
The moment I heard the cry of pain and felt my wife squeezing my hand super hard, I already knew what happened without having to look around anything.
I just said "And that's why we told you to wait longer. You were warned."
They were Super chill about everything, all things considered. I know I'd be pissed if I got bit by someone while doing my job, even if that job was literally their teeth.
i don't care about this post and I think @startek.whatever is probably full of libs but I gotta say I am super envious of having registered "miles o'brien" on @startrek.liberals, like that's some gold tier username there. godspeed, commander
Complimenting a username is nice, but you don't have to throw in a disclaimer about political alignment. I don't think any of your hexbear friends, if they're reasonable, would call you a lib because you complimented the username of a guy whose instance is populated by libs.
I didn't "disclaim" anything, I accurately stated something about the instancw being full of liberalism and then Miles O Liberalism immediately went off about "dictator states" like a good lib would
Well to be fair, that wasn't until 6 hours after my comment and 9 hours after yours, so neither of us could have known for sure.
