You would rather be indirectly gouged by a no-name brand that creates an inferior one-off product than buy an Apple product.

Cool. Every tech paper I've read has said how terrible their hearing aids are compared to AirPods, so your anecdote is meaningless.

Also, did that hearing aid retail for under $300?
