The rules and the preferences of the judges or what has not won before makes Game of the Year look kinda like shit. Like indie games and fps games without narrative have no chance?

This is bullshit. This year has proven better than any other that there is a wide discrepancy between what gamers vs "critics" think is good.

That 10% is only there so that you can participate and feel involved; awards are mostly money schemes and industry people patting each other on the back.
