In tropical regions it’s common for ripe oranges to be green
What? Aren't you talking about lime?
No, oranges only go orange if exposed to temperatures below 13C

Wife is one of those tropicals, she says they have both orange and green oranges, depending on the type. I asked her what type is green, and we have the same type here but it's orange.
Also Fanta is yellow, btw
Limes are unripe. If you let them ripen, they'll turn yellow.
As someone with a lime tree this is so true. Limes are so much better if you pick them right as they yellow.
