Yeah studios are frequently shut down en masse on one day for long term goals. It has nothing to do with a single quarter revenue

I'm convinced there's no plan at the top of the CEO food chain.

I would not be surprised to find out that someone with no business experience, could probably run these things better than these guys do.

Not only that but that is also true for all the other management positions in between CEO and the team and project managers down at the level where the actual work is done. They are all too focused on their on personal gain and career advancement.

If it's about the long term health of the business, don't buy studios you then "need to shut down" If that's the real reason then the leadership at Xbox fucked up hard and needs to be let go. They have golden parachutes, they'll be fine. Unlike the people at the studios they closed

So at what point is buying up competition just to shut them down anti competitive enough to get a law suit from the feds?
