I actually stopped my subscription to Wired recently because the damn site never recognises me and login does not seem to support autofill or biometrics. Really pissed me off.

Anyway, the gist of this article is the companies are spending money on building AI and sacking people to save that money

I hate how they don't seem to know how (not) to pluralize 'e-mail'.

They're writers, for god's sake. They were around before 'e-mail' was one word. Well, probably not those writers: too old now if you can spell.
