I think it did alright staying fresh, I ultimately stopped playing because the game was simply buggy and didnt run well on my machine. Peaced out to play games that did.

enjoyed learning the movement mechanics, practicing my tracking to burst people down really fast, but between the code:leafs, weird audio, toxic randoms, and expensive cosmetics...idk. hard to justify playing the game regardless of "freshness".

I figure someday apex will lose profitability enough to get the EA starwars bf2 treatment and get a "celebration edition" or whatever with all the cosmetics in the game for $60. then theyll cut all support for the game and I can decide whether I want to wait for that to go on sale for $5 or just keep playing titanfall 2.
