So I’ve ofc played Minecraft both Java and bedrock but never really got into the modding scene

However I do mod Skyrim (help me please) and to me it sounds like it’s gonna very similar to the difference of Bethesdas paid creations and running an antivirus and clicking download on nexus/mod site if you choice

I’m sure there’s going to be free ones too but that’s just my 2 cents

Pretty much except the minecraft scene is a bit more mature; so there's sources for a purely Foss stack, and most popular stuff you get from curseforge is pretty reputable.

Oh that’s neat, curse forge rings a bell is that like some blue looking mod manager or client or whatever

I would consider nexus safe too I just run antivirus cus I am very paranoid lol

Could be technic launcher youre thinking of, they were a bit more ghetto but did generally the same.e thing - curseforge just also acts as a host to publish individual mods as well

Technic might have been it

Both are names I definitely did something with mods all I remember is the desktop app was blue tho lol

Props for finally doing it, but a modding API was promised more than 10 years ago!

Here is an alternative Piped link(s):

I think that this is a good thing because Minecraft also allures to younger players who might not have the knowledge (or the device) to install classic mods.
