Soldiers didn't murder that unarmed civilian, AI did.

Soldier did the (rough) aiming.
Soldier pulled the trigger.

Still hard to blame AI for it, don't you think?

Oh but I don't need to think too much through it. It is pretty much the legal situation in Germany (and probably several other European countries). There may be some edge cases that I don't know.

Of course, if you send stuff to me, then you are the first of the evil ones :) and if I can convince the judge that I did not know and did not want (!) the stuff (and by the way, how did they even know about it? Even before I had the chance to delete it?), there will be room for a reasonable decision.

Ireally don't want to give my personal information to apple if I can avoid it...

The bad news is... drums rolling...

You can't become an Apple developer that way.

You will give them your true personal information, as well as your beliefs and your immortal soul.... 😉

the claims against Meta expire at the end of this year, so users would have to act quickly — by filing a lawsuit and proving they were victims of the incident

This is somewhat misleading.

They have to file their claim before the end of the year. But then they can add the proof later.

They usually request data that can be obtained from their business data, bookkeeping etc. Doing such a survey work shouldn't be neccessary for answering the EU's questions.

IMHO it smells.

Google is doing this to provide data on the impact this will make for these publishers

Read: trying to threaten them.

You should understand that Chinese people or companies have no choice there. It is not exactly a free world. As soon as they are asked by their authorities, they can only say yes.

(But it's not quite different in Usa with their so called national security letters)

Can I go to my public sites

I would not recommend. Remember, wherever you step, your feet are leaving traces. Your public sites may be a little too publicly well-known afterwards.

and/or VPN into my servers?

VPN's might not work from there, or the use may be considered a crime.

That "fleet" would need many significant differences, like when you recognize different people, then many features are different. If your grandma talks to you with a different tone, you would still recognize your grandma easily.

The Grandma-Honeypot LOL

But I don't believe in it. If I were the scammer, I would have maybe 2 or 3 of these lengthy talks with "her", but afterwards I would recognize her and of course avoid her anytime.

What alternative to 'postman' do you like the most for simply testing a bunch of REST services?
