Hello- I’m completely new to Linux and have just completed my first installation. Everything is working, but my first challenge is that only one of my monitors has an image, and it’s stuck in 640x480 instead of 3440x1920.

I installed openSUSE Leap 15.6 with KDE plasma. Processor is a Ryzen 3700x with an NVIDIA 4090 GPU.

I tried to troubleshoot as best as I could, but didn’t get very far. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Gaza Verified is a grassroots initiative to verify Palestinians on Mastodon who need aid, and who have recently completed a 22k USD fundraiser

The Wikipedia article says Cloudflare has been used to host hate speech, websites with illegal content and forums connected to all sorts of illegal activities. And I see them being used by a lot of decent webservices but shady ones as well.

So my question, can Cloudflare be used for something alike "bulletproof hosting"? Does anyone know if they collaborate with law enforcement or care once someone sends a mail to the abuse contact? Or if there's a way to find information about a Cloudflare protected server for the public?

Hypothetical question, I'm just curious and I thought maybe someone here has first-hand experience with getting their account terminated or reporting content or doing piracy via them or whatever...

I am running grapheneos and got nc from fdroid if it matters. I also use nc on my local network only.

I think this is emblematic of the game development atmosphere as a whole. The PS5 'must-plays' are mostly rereleases and multiplats.

I'm hoping Sony studios have a lot of good things cooking behind the scenes, they're just taking their time.

The Department of Homeland Security has sparked a Pokémon backlash after using the kids’ game to promote ICE deportation raids.

The DHS social media team posted a video to X on Monday of dramatic immigration raids—including one that was bungled yet still posted online by Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem—spliced with animé imagery from the popular Japanese cartoon and collectibles game, which is part owned by Nintendo.

Pope Leo XIV has rejected the idea of an AI Pope, saying in an interview with biographer Eloise Allen that "if there's anybody who should not be represented by an avatar, I would say the Pope is high on the list" (first spotted by The Register). Pope Leo, who is forthright about his views on the new technology, also said that he had been asked for his authorisation to create an AI Pope

"Someone recently asked authorization to create an artificial me so that anybody could sign onto this website and have a personal audience with 'the Pope'," said the pontiff. "This artificial intelligence Pope would give them answers to their questions, and I said, 'I'm not going to authorize that'."
