That’s Donald’s diaper. The Oval Office is full of hot air (mostly methane).

Migration minister Mike Tapp failed a UK citizenship test question before insisting he is a "proud Brit." Speaking at a parliamentary committee on settlement, citizenship, and integration on Tuesday, 10 March, the Labour MP for Dover and Deal admitted he did not know the height of the London Eye - one of the questions in the official UK citizenship test. "I am confident that I would be able to pass the test, I'm a proud Brit," he added, but promised to "take a keen interest" in knowing the answer "when it comes up again" in the same meeting next year. Chair of the committee, Lord Don Foster, said he will "follow up" on Mr Tapp's word.

Ben Goldfarb, author of Eager: The Surprising, Secret Life of Beavers and Why They Matter (seriously, that's the title of the book), notes that, “If you were to pick the least aerodynamic animal imaginable, beavers would be high on the list. They’ve got these thick, chunky, pear-shaped bodies.... The incongruity of this very land-bound animal soaring through the sky is just inherently comedic to people.”

I'll say.

Florida gubernatorial candidate James Fishback says his plan to visit every Waffle House in Florida to "meet voters where they are" has been derailed.

That's because he's been banned, he said.

In a release posted to X on Thursday, March 5, Fishback shared a statement saying that "this morning, Waffle House abruptly revoked our permission, and criminally trespassed us from all of their Florida locations."

Fishback, a Republican and one of 41 current candidates to replace outgoing Gov. Ron DeSantis, said he had previously received permission from Waffle House's corporate office to visit every location in Florida to "meet voters where they are."
