A German court ruled on Monday that thousands of local Facebook users affected by a massive data breach in 2021 are eligible for compensation.

Do affected people also get a check of a whopping $3.96 in Germany? Or is that just a US thing?

Its 100€ if you can not prove that any harm was done. It could be more with proof (ie spam call logs etc)
