I mean, it's your gf. Standard stuff tbh
A standard green flag, for sure.
Ew, Irish…
Should be, and usually is, but if you've never been in a healthy relationship you may not expect it. Especially if you've been in an unhealthy relationship.
I remember my husband-then-boyfriend being super happy he could just ask me to do stuff and I'd do it. I mean, yeah, of course, that's how relationships work?
Took me a long time to figure out that for most of his previous relationship, that really wasn't so obvious.
That's pretty much my story as well. Early into the first healthy relationship I was in, my gf stopped by my work to drop me off a donut. Just happened to be shopping nearby and thought of me.
That shit was outright mindblowing to me at the time considering I had a negative sense of self worth. Guess it still is to an extent, but I don't get the overwhelming "oh God oh fuck I don't deserve this" feeling I used to.

How do you go from husband to boyfriend without breaking up?
Now husband, then boyfriend.
Ah right, the less common backward in time then.
It's not really standard. Lots of people are terrible at giving gifts.
I'm grateful for anything I get, but honestly this year all I could think in my head with every gift I received was "do you guys even know me?"
