Reddit is entirely a "normie" platform now. 6 years ago I was actually made fun of for using it, but now even my grandparents talk about it.
Remember the whole secret code involving narwhals and bacon that some of Reddit leaned into while others cringed? And a good portion weren't even aware of it despite using Reddit.
Though that's more like 16 years ago now I think.
