Can English be butchered? It's already a wildly inconsistent frappe of Frisian, Latin, Greek, and French.

I won't stand behind the American dialect as some kind of paragon of linguistic virtue, but it's hardly butchering the language if we're already cool with cockney and whatever the hell it is bogans are speaking.
