Lol, yes it is. Greenland only has a pop a little over 55k people. Meaning that trump is offering a little over 500m dollars for an island who's gdp is well over 3 billion dollars a year.
Not only is he being incredibly stupid, he's being super cheap about it at the same time.
Might be hoping for some Brexit type stupidity where enough people heard somewhere that they get 10k if they vote yes.
He's being insulting. "Take this pittance or you might end up with nothing."
