Since the other person came in and tried to act cool or something by only caring about how it affects them (or doesn't affect them?), I just want to put it out there that the OW team has been making lots of improvements to the game lately. The last patch added a new core game mode that has been pretty popular, along with a new hero, and they've reimplemented 6v6 which has been a complaint of a large portion of the playerbase since they went to 5v5 a few years ago.
So, contrary to that other person, I am happy for the OW team for unionizing, and I hope that Blizzard doesn't do anything to stifle the progress that they have been making lately because they have now unionized.
Lemmy users try not to say "I don't care" challenge. Lvl impossible. Seriously why does every mainstream entertainment post has one guy talking about how he doesn't care. Lol. Holy boomers on this app.
These users are time travellers from the 90s, please be nice to them
Yeah, the team has been in a good bargaining position because the higher-ups are seeing OW players switching to Marvel Rivals in droves and realizing that they need to start listening to people who actually know what they're talking about. Props to the team for sensing this is a good time to gain some ground and unionize
I don't care about Overwatch but I am happy for the devs and hope this leads to more unionization in the video game industry.
Yeah that's a very fair statement to make.
