Google just not monitoring their app store. Brilliant. Doesn't seem to hard to pull an app that is openly known to extort users.
They don't monitor their ads either, I've seen multiple ads for outright scams from app store stuff.
Meanwhile if you're an ad-blocking app...
Let's not forget that ads are also a prime malware attack vector. Good times, thanks advertisers! Can't imagine why anyone would want to block ads, crazy, right!?

That, combined with the number of times I've seen a mobile game ad try to open my browser (without the phone even being in my hands, so I didn't touch shit), makes me genuinely wonder how bad it can possibly get before any authority steps up and holds Google accountable.
..If any authority ever holds them accountable, of course.
