Hey now! Germans created sausages with love and a sense of pride. Hotdogs require hate and poverty to be made correctly.

Pretty sure hot dogs can't even legally be called proper sausages in Germany or the rest of the EU. Too much filler and preservatives.

There is a german joke/saying; Why does the butcher not eat sausage? –Because he knows what's inside!

And we don't call the sausage hot dog, only the finished product.

Plus as a German Id go with the Danish version using a pølser.
