I dunno, I found it pretty goofy that the government is threatening to recognize a country as a punitive measure against another.
yhea, it makes no sense, "Recognising Palestine" is like recognising the existence of water.
not doing so is straight up denying reality.
"Country A threatens that if Country B doesn't do what they want they'll recognize C as a country" kinda sounds Onion funny to me
Oh, it definitely is.
It's a lot more bleak than most Onion headlines, but it fits.
Idk man/woman/compadre,.when I saw it I legitimately thought it was satire. It was both the weird condition and also a general sense of "no way".
It is kind of incredible that UK would even consider saying they might do something like this eventually.
I guess there won’t be any Palestine left, so the whole recognition thing is moot as.
plus the idea that the country might be gone in two months
It's the most luke warm response to starving children from the most luke warm leader of a major country
