Rest in peace Roza Shanina. With over 50 confirmed kills on Nazi soldiers in the Great Patriotic War, her life was cut short tragically at the age of 20 while defending wounded comrades.

Praised for her shooting accuracy, Shanina was capable of precisely hitting enemy personnel and making doublets (two target hits by two rounds fired in quick succession).
