The Rules

Posts must be:

  1. Links to news stories from...
  2. ...credible sources, with...
  3. ...their original headlines, that...
  4. ...would make people who see the headline think, “That has got to be a story from The Onion, America’s Finest News Source.”

Comments must abide by the server rules for Lemmy.world and generally abstain from trollish, bigoted, or otherwise disruptive behavior that makes this community less fun for everyone.

And that’s basically it!

Read the actual paper. Psypost is a shit source. The headline is clickbait and the direction the article goes isn’t the direction the study went. As usual, Psypost is really interested in saying things they want to say not thing the study was covering.

Yeah, my take away from just reading the abstract is that the study doesn't really conclude anything significant. One of the reasons is that they weren't able to get a diverse sample, only W.E.I.R.D dudes.

What I think should the headline is not about how well they get laid, it's that metal players don't do it to get laid.
