It certainly smells like a ploy to get more women to watch football, but that's about it.

Yeah that's one of the bizarre parts of this. They've been to the super bowl 3 times in the last few years. But suddenly THIS year is the conspiracy to get them there.

Of course it could be purely happenstance. It's just that the dates of all these events are in such close proximity that one can't help but think that there are backroom machinations. Ultimately, I probably won't watch the Superbowl because I don't watch sports.
