This article reads like a hit piece designed to attack the mod author.
It's not a hit piece if the guy is every bit the colossal douche the article is portraying him as.
He took money to do a lazy asset flip of someone else's IP.
Not sure why you're being down voted its literally what happened. If he had not taken patreon money this likely never would have escalated how it did. Nintendo had to make an example, and he made it pretty easy for them to do so...
This "article" reads like a Twitter rant.
To be fair, taking in Patreon money and creating a paid mod that makes the game look like Pokemon is already a pretty shitty move, and deserves all the flak the author is getting.
If they suck up enough, maybe senpai will notice them.
