Russia as it exists today is a creation of the US/NATO. Your western chauvinism runs so deep. The empire has been fighting any alternative to capitalism/fascism for decades, but you say these things.

The US was closely involved with Russian leadership after the end of the USSR that they facilitated. Eventually Putin realized he would not be allowed "at the table" with US/NATO/EU.
Russia had it chance. But russia and post KGB agents decided to pump more money in oligarchs, and create authoritarian regime. This is the problem with russia.
