Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).

Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word "Linux" in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.

Help with uploading images on Linux Mint & Librewolf (lemmy.ml)

So when I upload an image on certain sites the Image "uploads" but it comes out as a solid or staticy colours & looks nothing like what I uploaded.

this really became a problem when I made some new PFPs for my Online Accounts, Glomble & Here took them fine but WAFRN & Bluesky who took the previous images fine just showed the weird stuff even though when they allowed be to crop the image it looked perfectly fine, any advice?

This is a security measure Librewolf has. You can fix this in the settings.
Edit: Follow these steps to fix it

Click on the padlock button on the URL bar at the page where you want to upload your image
Click on "Connection secure" or whatever is written on the bar with another padlock icon
More information > Permissions > uncheck "Extract canvas data" and select "Allow"

This will affect the current page only
