I dunno. My mom was in a wreck with one and bit off her bottom lip when she hit the steering wheel because the air bags didn’t go off. We later found out that was a surprisingly common problem for that model year.

They did reattach it, but the nerves were never the same so it felt numb and cold to her from then on, leading to her chewing on it because she couldn’t feel it normally anymore.
