I'm confused. A 30-50 hour experience is slap bang in the middle of "normal for 2024", and generally more hours than would be normal in previous years.

Honestly I came in here thinking that was a little long and I'd like it to be shorter so your comment is surprising to me.

Ah see, I'm only considering the base rate of 25 hours. I'd want to see what that side content looks like before I consider it being worth that extra time. For all I know, it could be a grind fest with little pay off.

But yeah. My standards for game length are a bit on the higher side to most, I think. But it's not like I don't play games with shorter run times. It's just usually not for full price, and I that's doubly so if It's from a studio I'm unfamiliar with.

But this can vary depending on how fun the game actually is. Replayability helps to increase that price to gameplay ratio in my eyes.
